Piano Corner’s two technicians, Christina and William, have over 30 years of combined experience, and have extensive backgrounds working for various European workshops. Piano Corner can complete full regulation and voicing, and tune to concert pitch.

The technicians met in Auckland while working for Jenkin Piano Service, a very well known workshop throughout New Zealand, praised for its high-quality service. Both Christina and William worked for David Jenkin for five years before passing the exam and registering as members of the New Zealand Piano Tuner and Technician guild (NZPTTG).

Beyond tuning, Piano Corner also specializes in piano repair and restoration. Piano repair can undo damage caused by transport, playing children, age, or long-term exposure to sunlight. Whether small parts are missing, color has faded away, or the veneer is scratched or needs replacing, Piano Corner is able to correct the damage, and color match the piano’s finish.

Piano Corner also offers servicing, which may include hammer reshaping, polishing key pins, adjusting and lubricating the pedals, or cleaning keys, action, and inside the piano.
