About Gopher
An independent, New Zealand-owned website directory that helps people find real New Zealand websites.
Why Gopher exists
Many good New Zealand businesses are hard to find online, and many directories are filled with spam, duplicate listings and dead links. Gopher takes a smaller, more careful approach: every website is checked against our editorial policy before it is published, and every profile shows when it was last reviewed.
What we do
- List genuine New Zealand websites by category and region.
- Check each submission is live, New Zealand based and honest about what it offers.
- Label paid placements clearly and mark their links as sponsored.
- Remove listings that go offline or stop meeting our standards.
Who runs it
Gopher is independently owned and run in New Zealand. We are not part of a larger marketing network, and we do not sell your details.
